The last movie I watched was a crappy one.

Please, do not watch Merantau Warrior.


Anyway, a few movies I'm hoping to watch on screen.

My Sister's Keeper.
A best seller by Jodi Picoult, adapted into a film.
I haven't read the book, partly because I didn't want to be disappointed by the lack of content from the movie. Well, it's been the case for all book-to-movie films so far.

The Blue Mansion.
A local production by Glenn Goei.
It's about a murder mystery of an Asian tycoon who dies suddenly & returns as a ghost to uncover the secret of his death.
The trailer got me hooked, especially the line, "Your father died once, but he's already had three coffins".

2012.
This is seriously freaking me out. It's based on the many prophecies made around the world that everything might just end in the year 2012.
I googled 2012 and there were a long list of results revolving around the end of the world, bible prophecies, mayan calendar & the phenomenon marking the end.

Just amazing how two thirds of the year just past me by.

one thing didn't really change - my luck.

my car had many hiccups since i started driving, the most recent one when a malaysian motorcyclist who tried to overtake me on the right, when i signalled right & turning right. -.-
remember the day when CNY came, i was so damn happy cuz i finally didn't 犯太岁.
still, i can't believe the amount of people who gossip about other people without first self-evaluating themselves. (i just checked, 2010, i won't 犯太岁)

so far, concerned friends have told me to see a fortune teller to calculate some 紫微斗数, change the strokes of my name, do some rituals to ward off the bad luck.
ha, i better do it soon.

anyway, i'm happy.

I know the year of the Rat is coming to an end & I really can't wait.
And I can't help but to have a bit of belief in this, cuz this year is really shitty.

什么叫犯太岁

太岁是在神佛座下专责司察人间善恶，并记录每人所做善恶行为，每年轮流降福或降祸给有福报或作恶多端之人。
而人所属的生肖如和太岁所属生肖是同样的或是人所属的生肖五行与太岁所属生肖的五行发生了刑冲克害的五行关系，就被叫做犯太岁.具体的来说,
今年是西历2008年,岁次戊子鼠年,
01生肖属鼠的人与2008年太岁所属的鼠,是一样的,这叫做犯本命太岁;
整体的来说,凡是是属鼠的人在这一年之中极容易出现健康失调,钱财难蓄的不理想状态,具体的又依据个人八字组合的不同又分别分为:
年犯太岁:父母或家中年长者多易出现健康失调;
月犯太岁:多因兄弟姐妹或朋友关系而财运低迷;

And I remember that the Ah Po I met at the temple early this year, telling me that there are a lot of 小人(people who bring you bad fortune, gossips & basically ain't very nice to you on the whole) than 贵人(people who bring you good fortune & help you in every possible way) around me this year. And I should be very very wary. Why did I only google it now or rather think about that this late?
