Back From Flu.

Today was mainly about queuing up at Lim Chee Guan for two and a half hours.
Collecting 120 kums from the office (another 120 more to collect later this week).
Team lunching.
Distributing the kums + bak kwa.

And I still have 60 kums & some more bak kwa undistributed.
Which means I need to start earlier tomorrow.

Oh and I need to post pictures on me eating Bunnies.
It's pretty much overdued.

Oh yes, speaking of which, my unpaid bills too.

Busy this weekend.

One Third.

It's exactly 129 days to the year 2010.

Just amazing how two thirds of the year just past me by.

one thing didn't really change - my luck.

my car had many hiccups since i started driving, the most recent one when a malaysian motorcyclist who tried to overtake me on the right, when i signalled right & turning right. -.-
remember the day when CNY came, i was so damn happy cuz i finally didn't 犯太岁.
still, i can't believe the amount of people who gossip about other people without first self-evaluating themselves. (i just checked, 2010, i won't 犯太岁)

so far, concerned friends have told me to see a fortune teller to calculate some 紫微斗数, change the strokes of my name, do some rituals to ward off the bad luck.
ha, i better do it soon.

anyway, i'm happy.

Finding Tempo.

As some might already know, I've started on my rehab just this Monday.
It's gonna be a everyday thing for a good 3 weeks.

The 1st few days had been really tough, I wanted the trainer to push me hard, so I can go back to the game fast.
Muscleaches would be with me for the next 18 days at least.
You might not realise, playing netball for me is not a chore but a passion.
It has kept me focused, taught me life's lessons and kept me motivated.

It's been slightly more than a year since my surgery last June.
And I'm really thankful for those who showed encouragement & support during time.
People who have urged me to go for rehab, so they can see me in action again, to fight as a team again. Thank you, it kept me going from my crutches to just my knee brace then to be able to walk properly again.

It's really heartwarming, when each and every one of you who cheered me on, who bothered to ask how I am doing.
I hope I'll be able to return to the game soon.
Steve (my trainer) said I can join tomorrow's club training.
But just with forward running movements.
I'm happy enough for now.
Step by step, I'm sure I can get there soon =)

I'm coaching NUS netball for a tournament that starts in less than a week.
The Scarlette has launched The Little Black Book online this week.
Tired, but I'm still finding the tempo.

Yes, I just worked on a SUNDAY.

My feet is sore from work, walking to Sim Lim Square to check all the floors for printers and walking to Sunshine Plaza to meet Mei for printing finally.
But all seemed better when we went for lingerie shopping.

Sunday at The Hiding Place.

Went to support Aldersgate Methodist Church in Grace Cup at The Hiding Place.
Esther & I were supposed to play for AMC, until we both injured our knees. =/
oh well. in 6 months' time, I'll be back on court. =)

Durian Buddies.

I have a durian buddy since my secondary school days.

We would just head to Clementi central after school/trainings, buy a box or two, find a place to sit down & just start having our durians.

It's been a while since we last did that.
So we met up after our respective interviews last Friday for DURIANS!!
