Back From Flu.

Today was mainly about queuing up at Lim Chee Guan for two and a half hours.
Collecting 120 kums from the office (another 120 more to collect later this week).
Team lunching.
Distributing the kums + bak kwa.

And I still have 60 kums & some more bak kwa undistributed.
Which means I need to start earlier tomorrow.

Oh and I need to post pictures on me eating Bunnies.
It's pretty much overdued.

Oh yes, speaking of which, my unpaid bills too.

Busy this weekend.

Bad Week.

This week is so not good for me.
My swollen eye has became worse & developed a stye in the lower lid.

I'm not done giving out goodies to the doctors.
Just yesterday, both Sharon & I actually forgot to bring out the chocolates that we bought.

The supplier played prank & some hot faves are still not in for The Scarlette.
And I didn't know I was supposed to help out today until Mei SMSed me.
OMG.

And I haven't been at rehab for this week.
Guess what, I'm scheduled to work this weekend. -.-

NOT GOOD.

Please please pray that my eye get better.
Please pray that everything get sold out at The Scarlette.
Please pray that my knee gets stronger.

The last movie I watched was a crappy one.

Anyway, a few movies I'm hoping to watch on screen.

My Sister's Keeper.
A best seller by Jodi Picoult, adapted into a film.
I haven't read the book, partly because I didn't want to be disappointed by the lack of content from the movie. Well, it's been the case for all book-to-movie films so far.

The Blue Mansion.
A local production by Glenn Goei.
It's about a murder mystery of an Asian tycoon who dies suddenly & returns as a ghost to uncover the secret of his death.
The trailer got me hooked, especially the line, "Your father died once, but he's already had three coffins".

2012.
This is seriously freaking me out. It's based on the many prophecies made around the world that everything might just end in the year 2012.
I googled 2012 and there were a long list of results revolving around the end of the world, bible prophecies, mayan calendar & the phenomenon marking the end.

Oh well, live in the present right?

Finding Tempo.

As some might already know, I've started on my rehab just this Monday.
It's gonna be a everyday thing for a good 3 weeks.

The 1st few days had been really tough, I wanted the trainer to push me hard, so I can go back to the game fast.
Muscleaches would be with me for the next 18 days at least.
You might not realise, playing netball for me is not a chore but a passion.
It has kept me focused, taught me life's lessons and kept me motivated.

It's been slightly more than a year since my surgery last June.
And I'm really thankful for those who showed encouragement & support during time.
People who have urged me to go for rehab, so they can see me in action again, to fight as a team again. Thank you, it kept me going from my crutches to just my knee brace then to be able to walk properly again.

It's really heartwarming, when each and every one of you who cheered me on, who bothered to ask how I am doing.
I hope I'll be able to return to the game soon.
Steve (my trainer) said I can join tomorrow's club training.
But just with forward running movements.
I'm happy enough for now.
Step by step, I'm sure I can get there soon =)

I'm coaching NUS netball for a tournament that starts in less than a week.

Tired, but I'm still finding the tempo.

Popped a double dosage of Vitamin Cs today, hoping I'll have more energy to last me through the day.

Fatigued.
Think I should just stay away for a while, even though I wanna pick up the phone & dial.

Work vs Rest.

The week just flew past.
Ever since I started to go out on the field, hours seemed to pass really quickly.
And before you know it, it's time to head home.
Not only at work that it feels this way.
Back home, net-reporting, maintaining The Scarlette, checking emails, planning calls, forecasting sales, jotting down past sales, and oh, getting stressed up by the amount I need to catch up.
BLEAH.

Speaking of which, I better sleep now, so I can settle some biz stuff in the morning.
